USB’S 50th anniversary
#88 – October 2022
Agora 88 is a special edition, as Juan-Pedro Perez-Escanilla points out in his editorial note. It's an edition that sums up the history of USB, with all its lights and shadows. It is not just a commemorative text, but a practical overview of everything you need to know about our statutory achievements, many if not all of which are due to the work of Union Syndicale.
This edition also marks the 50th anniversary of Union Syndicale Brussels. You will therefore find special articles in this edition highlighting the struggles of USB and its achievements in the face of the turbulence of the trade union movement in Europe.
