“The post of the President of the European Patent Office will have to be filled on the 1st July 2018. After a period of serious unrest at the EPO (see www.suepo.org), USF thinks it is paramount to find and nominate a candidate who will reestablish the rule of law inside this important organisation and reestablish trust internally and externally. All main political actors are called upon to stay aware and focused on this now starting the search for an appropriate successor. Support by the MEPs is being requested.”
