While the European Commission has acknowledged the issue of under-representation of certain Member States, USF argues that the root causes of this imbalance remain unaddressed. With an in-depth analysis of the challenges faced by staff, particularly regarding insecure employment contracts and reduced benefits, USF urges policymakers to adopt more effective, long-term solutions that not only promote fairness but also enhance the attractiveness of a career in the European civil service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1325\">The letter highlights key areas for improvement, from reducing temporary contracts to rethinking recent reforms that have eroded the benefits and stability of European civil service roles.
